What we do
Designed by Steve, fitted by his own team.
From the first free design to the last skirting board, we handle the whole kitchen ourselves — design and British-made supply, fitting, worktops, splashbacks, flooring, carpentry and electrics, all in-house for homes across Solihull and the surrounding area. Prefer to fit it yourself? We supply only, too.

01
Kitchen Design
Every Kitchens of Solihull project starts with a free design. Steve comes to you, measures up properly and listens to how you use the room — what frustrates you now, the look you're after and the budget you have in mind. Because the person designing it is a carpenter who'll be on site for the fit, the plan is grounded in how it actually goes together, not just how it looks on a screen. You get a considered layout and a clear, itemised quote with no pressure and nothing hidden in it.

02
Kitchen Supply
We supply quality, British-made kitchens across the full range of styles — traditional shaker and in-frame, sleek contemporary handleless, pared-back minimalist and warm rustic timber. Whatever look you're after, we can cater for most budgets and tastes while offering honest value for money. Because we design and supply under one roof, the cabinetry is specified around your room rather than forcing your space to fit a standard box — and Steve will steer you toward what genuinely suits the house.

03
Kitchen Fitting
Design is only half the job — the fit is where it's won or lost. Your kitchen is installed by our own team of expert fitters, who call on decades of combined experience to get every unit, worktop and detail right. Steve project-manages the whole thing and is usually on the tools himself. Clients mention it again and again in their reviews: turned up exactly when they said they would, no delays, tidy, and finished to a standard that's second to none.

04
Supply Only
Not everyone needs us to fit the kitchen. If you're a confident DIY-er or have your own trusted installer, we offer a supply-only service: you get a full floor plan with an itemised parts list, so you know exactly what's arriving and where it goes. It's the same quality cabinetry and the same design input behind it — just delivered ready for you to install on your own timeline.

05
Flooring
A new kitchen deserves the right floor under it, so we supply and lay flooring as part of the job rather than leaving you to arrange a separate trade. Stone, luxury vinyl, laminate and solid hardwood — we'll talk you through what each is like to live with in a busy kitchen, help you choose a finish that works with the cabinetry, and fit it cleanly so the whole room reads as one considered space. Herringbone LVT and warm timber tones are perennial favourites.

06
Carpentry & Joinery
Steve is a carpenter first and foremost, and it shows in the finishing. Alongside the kitchens we take on general carpentry and joinery — door installation and hanging, skirting boards and architrave, bespoke shelving and the fiddly finishing work that pulls a room together. It's the part of the job clients name him for in their reviews: attention to detail, perseverance on the tricky bits, and a finish they'd recommend for any woodwork in the house.

07
Worktops & Splashbacks
Worktops make or break a kitchen, both to look at and to live with, so we supply and fit them as part of the project — templated and installed alongside the cabinetry so there's no gap between trades. From clean engineered quartz to dramatic marbled stone with real veining, plus the matching splashbacks, tiled or solid, we specify the surface to suit how you cook and the look you're after. It's all coordinated into the fit so the finished run lands as one piece.

08
Electrical Work
Because a new kitchen almost always means new sockets, lighting and appliances, we handle the electrical side in-house too — full and partial rewiring, electrical testing and inspection (EICR reports), and general household electrical work beyond the kitchen. Coordinating it as part of the fit means the wiring, cabinetry and appliances are sequenced together, so there's no waiting on a separate electrician and no mismatched finish where the trades meet.
